What is a Substrate?
A Substrate is the base material onto which images are printed, such as paper, plastic, or fabric.
Common substrates include paper, vinyl, fabric, and various types of plastics. Each substrate has unique properties that make it suitable for different applications, ranging from outdoor banners to high-quality art prints. For instance, vinyl is often used for outdoor signs due to its durability and weather resistance, while fine art papers are preferred for archival quality prints.
